    Michael is a seasoned litigator who assists individuals and businesses in high stakes civil forfeiture matters.     Michael has extensive trial experience, having led and/or directed numerous trials over the course of his 16-year career. He has also briefed and argued appeals before the British Columbia Court of Appeal.

    Michael has successfully defended numerous civil forfeiture matters involving allegations ranging from money laundering to drug trafficking to white collar crime, leading to the discontinuance of the claims and the release of his clients’ hard-earned assets.
